CXF Wellbeing

Your Team

CXF Wellbeing was founded by two former Royal Marines, Adam White and Dan Harrison

Adam White

Adam was born with a cleft lip and cleft palate. This condition came with its own challenges which took him a long time to become comfortable with my facial deformity and the associated problems that came along with it. From leaving school he joined the Royal Marine Commandos, after completing the 32 weeks of the most arduous military training in the western world. He believes that his facial deformity was a contributing factor that helped him to overcome many of the challenges faced during his time in the marines. After 21 years Adam held the Rank of Colour Sergeant and specialised in physical training and adventure training. Unfortunately due to an incident in the jungle he was then medically discharged.

From leaving the marines Adam moved back to Rhos on sea with his wife Nia, and their two Young girls Olivia and Claudia. He started Commando X-Fit back in 2012, during his time in Scotland. The ethos is designed around Movement, Mindset and motivation - wellbeing through the medium of coaching and physical exercise.

Adam is also a coach for Leeds Becket University delivering life changing wellbeing weeks to Vets and currently serving individuals who are wounded injured and sick. Locally he has worked with the foster care association various schools and the Phoenix programme attached to the fire brigade.

Dan Harrison

Dan grew up in Portland, Dorset with his mother and 2 sisters. After leaving school he joined The Royal Navy as a chef and worked onboard HMS Lancaster. Feeling unsatisfied and needing more of a challenge Dan transferred to The Royal Marines where he deployed on operational tours in the middle east and completed arduous training exercises in the arctic and jungle. After 10 years of service Dan decided to leave the military and spent the next few years in the security industry working off the coast of Somalia and then as a Health & Safety Officer throughout Europe.

In 2016 Dan decided he no longer wanted to work abroad and wanted to spend more time with his son so he moved from Dorset to North Wales. Here, Dan decided to qualify as a Personal Trainer and began working with Commando X Fit which is now a very well respected and recognised fitness company that specialises in large group exercise sessions.
